Thanksgiving

I’m not really that much for thanksgiving, because of what’s the original event that’s being celebrated,

But I’m all for a day in the year that we say out loud what we are grateful for! šŸ’•

And there are so many things I’m so thankful to have in my life!

The people. I cannot possibly stress enough how lucky I am to have my family (which are so far away, but always on my side no matter what! šŸ’•) . My friends. My friends in here are a group of people so special and so supportive, I don’t even know how to explain it! This year was so challenging for me and I don’t know what I would do without them! My friends all over the world. Our WhatsApp conversations and the letters and love I got this very special year! My heart is so big when I think about the people who decide to be in my life everyday! You are my everything!!!

My privileges. The older I get, the more I understand it. That where I’m from and how I was brought up – gave me such a head start! I’m only realising it now and I am so lucky to be in the position to already be ahead. Because I know it, I can try to help those who are not that lucky. I’m still trying to figure out how, but being aware of the issue and discussing it with others might be the first step.

My travels. I got to travel so much this year! To so many incredible places!!! I got my bucket list ticked and every each trip changes something in my life and every single time – it’s changes it for the better! I get to see the most beautiful things and meet the most beautiful people!

My health. I’m so healthy and it allows me to live my life to the fullest. And I think I should appreciate it more often and be aware of it more often to remind myself not to waste it!

My skills. This one is gratefulness for all the things I can do, all the things that make me special and all the skills I gain on the daily basis. I’m well educated and speak languages and I get to do what I love on daily basis and I’m so lucky I get to be paid for that! It makes my soul sing!

The beautiful place I live. It’s one of the most wonderful and gorgeous places I have even been to, let alone I get to live here, get in the ocean, surf the waves, hike the mountains and soak the sunshine on daily basis! So incredible!

My things. However shallow doesn’t it sound – I’m so grateful for things I have, my camera I get to take photos with, my bed, my favourite shoes, my camping gear! Things that surround me and let me enjoy my life in happiness and comfort.
